Black and white 35mm photographs of sandplay imprints left in a sand tray. Sandplay in therapeutic contexts seeks to provide the opportunity to communicate non-verbally. This sand tray was handbuilt to the dimensions of the 35mm frame, and placed outside of the studio for the month of Feb 2020. Seeking to document the interaction of touch and play, a note invited people to leave an imprint in the sand. These photographs were taken over the duration of Feb.

This project was paused due to a global pandemic. The artist hasn’t had access to the resources to continue.
